BEFORE YOU START
How much motorcycle wrap do I need?
Start with your panels, then choose your roll. The amount of vinyl depends on the surfaces you want to cover, their shape and how you arrange them on the material.
1. List the panels you want to cover
Write down every panel in the project. A full fairing, a tank accent and a small trim piece require different amounts of material. Do not assume a motorcycle model alone determines the correct roll length.
2. Measure each panel
Measure the widest and longest dimensions over the panel’s curves. Use those measurements to plan a rectangle of material for each piece, allowing extra for positioning, handling and trimming.
3. Plan the layout on a 52-inch-wide roll
Our wrap rolls are 52 inches wide. Sketch the rectangles within that width and compare the total length with the available roll sizes. Leave room for mistakes or practice pieces, especially on your first project.
4. Check before ordering
Send your panel measurements to info@flakedwrap.com if you need help choosing a roll. For colour decisions, compare a swatchbook in your own lighting before committing to the wrap.
